Our standard BC incorporation package is designed for people who want to make sure that they structure their company properly and to receive advice as to how to best use the company. If you reside outside of Canada and you wish to incorporate in Canada this is the package for you. British Columbia is a good choice for a Canadian corporation because the BC Business Corporation Act allows non-resident directors and more flexibility than any other jurisdiction in Canada.

Our package includes legal consulation and a choice of company structures so that your company is designed to achieve your goals. We pre-screen your name reservation to help you choose the best name available and we do a NUANS search to ensure that you do not infringe on someone else's name from elsewhere in Canada which could result in an action against you company for damages or might result in your losing the right to use the name you chose for your company. We also provide legal advice with respect to starting up your company. This will allow you to take advantage of our experience gained over the years as we incorporated thousands of companies and helped those companies with a wide variety of problems which they encountered during their start-up.

To purchase the standard BC incorporation, gather the following information. Then contact us by e-mail, fax, phone or mail, or visit our office. Once we have the required information and payment, one of our lawyers will contact you to provide the above services. A visit to our office is our preferred way to serve our clients, because face to face is still important, even in these high-tech days. However, we recognize that a meeting in person may not be convenient for you, and we're able to serve you just as effectively by e-mail, fax, mail or phone. The costs total $500.00 (not including the NUANS search), most of which is payable to the BC government ($350 for the incorporation itself; $30 for the name reservation (no name reservation is needed for a numbered company), $14.93 for PST and $19.89 for GST). Without the NUANS search, the total of fees, expenses and tax comes to $699.00. (And, as in all things, fees, expenses and taxes are subject to change without notice.)

The incorporation process takes 1 or 2 days. After you send us your incorporation enquiry we will respond with a phone call or e-mail. After we consult with you and determine your requirements we apply online for the name reservation. The name reservation takes 2 to 4 hours during normal business hours. Meanwhile we send you an e-mail asking you to print, sign and fax back to us some incorporation documents. When we have payment, the name reservation and the incorporation documents back from you we incorporate your company online. We immediately e-mail you the incorporation particulars. Then we prepare and send to you the corporate records book with the registers, resolutions and share certificates. The certificate of incorporation will be forwarded to you when we receive it, usually about a week later.
